Peter was raised in a Pastor’s home in Maine. His parents had started the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Topsham, ME in June of 1975. He had the opportunity to be around the church his entire life and has always been familiar with the operation of the church ministries. Peter was saved at the age of 5 on a Friday night while the church was conducting their weekly Awana ministry. Shortly after that he would be baptized by his father at the church.

Each year the church young people would go to a summer camp hosted by another church there in Maine. The summer that Peter was 8 years old he felt God’s calling upon him to preach wherever God would have him to go. Peter fulfilled this calling throughout high school preaching at youth groups, nursing homes, and occasionally in his father’s church. Upon completion of high school in 1995, Peter attended Massillon Baptist College in Massillon, OH where he graduated from in 1998 with his Bachelor of Divinity Degree. He would later continue his education and receive his Master’s degree through Rock of Ages Theological Seminary and then his Doctor of Ministry degree from Covington Theological Seminary.
